I didn’t realize until I started looking for an old necklace. When I searched the necklace in my jewelry box, I realized that there were a lot of teams that I didn’t even remember or even knew. I needed a solution that would allow me to see them all on a regular basis. Yeah, I could get a jewelry strap, but I wanted something big I could put on the wall. I’ve decided to make one for myself!
We get four laths, 1.2 inches thick and 3 inches wide. They will help the jewelry rack to sit more smoothly on the wall.
We cut the first worktops in the sizes we want. Since I have a lot of long necklaces, I decided to make a long hanger in rectangular shape. The best thing about Do-it-yourself works is that you can do whatever you need in the sizes you need. The shapes we want are cut into rectangular shapes.
We use masonite for the back of our jewelry. The reason we use Masonite is that it will not aggravate our sling, thin and light; exactly according to this job! We cut it off to fit the rectangle we made of Masonite slats.
When I was building this project in my head, I thought of the small boxes that I would put under the box. I’ll put earrings, brooches and other tiny accessories in these tiny boxes! We’re getting four tiny boxes that haven’t been processed for this. We paint these untreated boxes with spray paint and give them a beautiful and shiny look.
We are painting the large rectangular frame, which we prepared first, to white to give a smooth and smooth appearance. That way it looks more modern!
Now it’s time to customize the jewelry box. We need some wallpaper to decorate the back of the box. However, we also use gift-wrapping paper for our small boxes.
We cut small rectangles around the small boxes with a utility knife. And we’re gettin ‘it up to size. I didn’t even use glue because the papers fit right where I was.
In order to give the boxes a little more visuality, we get a few labels, the boxes and jewelry will be more regular thanks to these labels. In the meantime, we’re nailing the masonite through the wallpaper to the inside. Almost done!
Small wooden reels that I have previously kept, a few beams and two wardrobe door handles; I use it to hang the necklaces. I will attach them to the various parts of the box, considering the length of the necklaces.
I’m going to use because the coating is very thin, I will not tear the straps or trace, I’m going to use a knife instead of every hanger.
This will also allow us to secure the hangers in the right places. We attach the hangers to the places we marked with the help of hot glue gun. If you are using a thin material, you should make sure that you can carry weights because the coating sheets can be torn when the excess weight is loaded.
Now your box is ready! The best way to attach the box to the wall would be to apply adhesives to the box and the wall. Now it is time to place and arrange the jewelery. I put a long thin vase in the vir corner of the box; watches and wristbands.
Our jewelry box is completely ready at the end, just like I wanted! Regular, accessible and a good option for a wall and small rooms!
