Any field will offer you many design options, no matter the size, and so is your kitchen. You want to have a home-office, but don’t have enough space? I’m sure many of you think it’s a bad idea to design a home-office where you cook. The real question is: why not? I write most of my writings in my kitchen and I like it very much! So why are you giving up your dream? Check your kitchen and bring this idea to life. Tips? He’s coming right away!
- Choose the perfect location for your kitchen area. A dead field will be very good for an office. An empty wall, a desk and a comfortable chair can bring much more than you expect!
- Use your walls as much as possible! If you are in a constant run and are inclined to forget something, you can put a cork board on your wall. It will be a perfect space to hang your calendars, take notes, recipes or even hang photos of your family.
- If you do not own a cork board, you can also work on the chalkboard (or you can paint your wall with chalkboard paint). This is a good way to remember important things mak such as calling your boss or depositing bills.
-Use some drawers and shelves of your kitchen for different things. You can try to use some of these storage areas to organize your papers and books.
- Create alternative areas where you can put your materials, such as printers and fax machines, using pull-ins. In this way, you can keep your tools free of dust and contamination and of course children.
